The running conduct of the Hume & Hovell Ultra is dependent on the cooperation of a number of public authorities including Department of Industry/Lands, Forestry Corporation, NSW Rural Fire Service, NSW Police, Snowy Valley’s Council, NSW National Parks and Wildlife and Wagga Amateur Radio Club. Event organisers are grateful to these organisations for their cooperation.
In order to gain their approval, a number of their requirements have been incorporated in the Rules for the Hume & Hovell Ultra. All runners and their support crews are requested to abide by the Rules of the Hume & Hovell Ultra as specified in this document and to obey any lawful directions given by authorised members of the above organisations.
Subject to the powers of the above-mentioned Public Authorities, the Event Organiser, Peter FitzPatrick, has authority on all matters related to the Hume & Hovell Ultra during the course of the event. He, or his designees can be contacted at any time during the Hume & Hovell Ultra.
