Age

Runners must be at least 18 years on the day of the race.

100 mile Qualifying Experience

Runners must have completed at least an 80 km event in the last twelve months. Evidence of this must be supported at the time of entering. If prospective runners are unsure whether their qualifying performances will be sufficient, they are encouraged to seek pre-approval by emailing details to: Race Director Peter FitzPatrick – peterfitz47@bigpond.com.

100km Qualifying Experience

Runners must have completed a marathon in less than 6 hours, or achieved an equivalent performance, in the three years preceding the day of the race. Evidence of this must be supplied at the time of entering. If prospective runners are unsure of whether their qualifying performances will be sufficient, they are encouraged to seek pre-approval by emailing details to: Race Director Peter FitzPatrick –  peterfitz47@bigpond.com before entry. The final decision on whether an entrant has acceptable qualifying performance or experience will rest with the Race Director.

100km Relay Qualifying Experience

Relay runners must have completed a half marathon or achieved an equivalent performance in twelve months preceeding the day of the event. Evidence of this must be supplied at the time of entering. The final decision on whether an entrant has acceptable qualifying performance or experience will rest with the Race Director.

50km Qualifying Experience

The 50km event is an opportunity to participate in an ultra with a generous cut off time. Participants are expected to have previous experience in an endurance event. If prospective runners are unsure of their suitability, they are encouraged to seek pre-approval by emailing details to: Race Director Peter FitzPatrick –  peterfitz47@bigpond.com before entry. The final decision on whether an entrant has acceptable qualifying performance or experience will rest with the Race Director.

22km Qualifying Experience

Runners must have run in a 10 km event. There is a generous cutoff, as this event is to encourage people to get into long distance trail running and to  mix with 100 mile, 100km and 50km Ultra runners.
